Once you purchase and download the template from our store, please follow the instructions below to use the template

Overview of the Template Import Process

Lumasoft's photo booth software supports importing templates in ZIP file format. Depending on the type of template you purchased, the process may vary slightly. Follow the instructions below based on whether you have a single ZIP file or a double template pack.

Importing a Single Template ZIP File: If you purchased a single template ZIP file, you should import it directly into the software without extracting it. Here’s how:

Make sure to leave the file zipped; do not extract the file. On Macs, Safari will automatically unzip the file when you download it, we recommend you download using Chrome or Firefox instead.

Step 2 : find the template in your downloads folder and import the zip file

Importing a Double Template Pack: If you purchased a double template pack (containing both horizontal and vertical templates), the process involves an additional step to extract the main ZIP file.

Combo templates will download multiple template zip files into one main zip file. To use the templates, follow these steps:

1. Download the main zip file to your computer.

2. Open the main zip on your computer and click Extract All at the top of the window.

3. Once you do, you will see the zip files of the individual zip files. Do NOT extract/unzip these.

4. Follow steps 1 and 2 for single templates above.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Issue: The software does not recognize the ZIP file.

    • Solution: Ensure you are importing the correct ZIP file. For double template packs, make sure you are selecting one of the individual template ZIP files (horizontal or vertical) after extracting the main ZIP.

  • Issue: The imported template does not display correctly.

    • Solution: Verify that the template ZIP file is compatible with your version of Lumasoft's photo booth software. Contact support if the issue persists.
