What is the LumaBooth Dashboard?

The LumaBooth Dashboard is a browser-based control center for managing your photo booth events. Create events, configure templates, overlays, backgrounds, and sharing settings — all from any device with a web browser, without needing to be at your booth.

One Platform, All Devices

After 14 years, dslrBooth for Windows has been unified with LumaBooth for Apple under a single platform — LumaBooth. The Dashboard is the glue that holds it all together.

Settings you configure in the Dashboard automatically sync to your booth devices — whether you're running LumaBooth on Windows PC, iPad, iPhone, or Mac. No other photo booth platform connects Windows and Apple under one roof.

If you've been using dslrBooth for Windows, it's now called LumaBooth for Windows starting with version 8.0. Same great software, unified with the Apple apps under one name and one Dashboard.

What You Can Do

  • Create and manage events — Set up events ahead of time with all settings ready to go. Show up and start your booth.

  • Design templates — Access 820+ professionally designed templates for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and more. Import your own Canva PDF designs with automatic layer recognition.

  • Configure sharing — Set up email, SMS, QR code, and social sharing options for your guests.

  • Set up overlays and backgrounds — Add image overlays, animated overlays (up to 50 MB), and custom backgrounds.

  • Enable AI Portraits — Turn on AI Portraits with 170+ styles to transform guests into superheroes, oil paintings, 3D characters, and more.

  • Manage subscriptions and AI credits — View your plan, purchase AI credits, and manage billing.

  • Sync across devices — Changes made in the Dashboard automatically sync to all connected booth devices.

How It Works

  1. Go to dash.lumabooth.com and sign in with your LumaBooth account

  2. Create an event and configure your settings — templates, overlays, sharing, AI Portraits

  3. At the event, open LumaBooth on your booth device (Windows, iPad, iPhone, or Mac) and select the event

  4. All your Dashboard settings sync automatically — you're ready to go

No More On-Site Setup Stress

The Dashboard eliminates the need to configure your booth on location. Set your templates, overlays, backgrounds, and settings once from the comfort of your home or office. Then show up to the event, connect your device, and start shooting.

Need to make a last-minute change? Pull up the Dashboard on your phone and adjust settings remotely — no need to unpack equipment or connect peripherals.

Requirements

Events created in the Dashboard can be run on:

  • LumaBooth for Apple v5.0 or later (iPad, iPhone, or Mac)

  • LumaBooth for Windows (dslrBooth) v8.1 or later

If you're on an older version, update to the latest to connect to the Dashboard: Update on the App Store | Download for Windows. Your booth device needs an internet connection to sync settings from the Dashboard.
