Create a customized photo layout for your prints using the Photo Layout feature.
On the start screen, click the downward arrow at the top right. Click on Photo Layout.
Booth Photo button
Add a photo from booth to take more photos per session. (Max 4 photos)
Adjust the height and width by either resizing with two fingers or typing in the Width and Height dimensions.
Choose Horizontal or Vertical photo placeholder.
Rotate the photo from booth by using two fingers or typing in the angle degree.
Click Duplicate to duplicate the photo or click Delete to delete the photo.
Use Bring forward and Send backward buttons to layer items in the photo layout.
Text button
Add text to your photo layout. Type in your text.
Select your font type and color. While selecting a color, use the color picker or type the HEX code for your color.
Resize text using two fingers.
Rotate the text by using two fingers or type in the angle degree.
Click Duplicate to duplicate the text or click Delete to delete the text.
Use Bring forward and Send backward buttons to layer items in the photo layout.
Image button
Add an image from the FILES app or your device's gallery to the photo layout.
Choose either JPG or PNG files.
Resize the image by using two fingers or typing in the Width and Height dimensions.
Rotate the image by using two fingers or type in the angle degree.
Click Duplicate to duplicate the image or click Delete to delete the image.
Use Bring forward and Send backward buttons to layer items in the photo layout.
Guest Data button
Add survey answer or Guest Signature to the photo layout.
Select your font type and color. While selecting color, choose a color using the color picker or type in the HEX code for your color.
Resize text using two fingers.
Rotate the survey answer or signature by using two fingers or type in the angle degree.
Click Duplicate to duplicate the survey answer or click Delete to delete the survey answer.
Use the Bring forward and Send backward buttons to layer items in the photo layout.
Printing button
Select your Paper Size by choosing one of the Presets or by entering the Width and height.
Choose Horizontal or Vertical for the orientation.
Choose the Print 2 Per Page option when printing two templates side by side, such as for 2x6 prints.
Choose the option to set this template to print to a secondary Printer.
Preset button
Choose a preset layout from one of our 14 preset layouts.
Recent button
Choose Recent to choose a previously made photo layout.
Import & Export button
Import and Export photo layouts from LumaBooth.
Import created layouts that you created in LumaBooth or LumaBooth for Windows (dslrBooth). Video Tutorial.
To import templates you have designed in LumaBooth or LumaBooth for Windows (dslrBooth) or purchased from our store, you'll need to send the template to your iPad either over e-mail or a file sharing service. Then open the template zip file in Safari, Google Drive, or Dropbox Apps, AirDrop from MacOS and then click Open With LumaBooth. The template will then load into LumaBooth.
To export click on the Export button in photo layout. Choose where you would like to export the template to (Google Drive, Email, iCloud Drive or Airdrop to a MAC computer.).
