Use two WiFi adapters with GoPro

Beginning with v6.42.1214, If you are using a GoPro with dslrBooth, we highly recommend using two WiFi adapters. All computers will only have one internal Wifi adapter. You will need to purchase an additional USB WiFi adapter and use it for a more reliable and faster connection to the GoPro.

Recommended USB WiFi Adapter

Buy TP-Link AC1300 WiFi Adapter

If you use just one WiFi adapter, dslrBooth will need to switch back and forth between connecting to your internet connection and connecting to the GoPro. This is not ideal as the constant connection and disconnection might cause issues due to WiFi interference or lower quality WiFi adapters.

With two WiFi adapters, dslrBooth will use the first adapter to connect to the internet and the second one to connect to your GoPro.

Another option that is less popular however possible in dslrBooth is to use a wired connection to the internet and a wireless WiFi adapter for connecting to the GoPro.

In all cases, dslrBooth will manage your WiFi connections directly so you never need to connect and disconnect to any networks during your event.
