Network Requirements
The Android device and booth device printer must be on the same WiFi network
The network must allow multicast/mDNS traffic (used for both and automatic printer discovery)
Some enterprise or guest networks block multicast — if printers are not discovered, check with your network administrator
Supported Printers
LumaShare prints over IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) and supports printers that accept can print over the network or using the LumaBooth Assistant app.
Permissions
LumaShare requires the following permissions:
WiFi / Network access — to discover and communicate with printers on the local network
Location — required by Android to perform WiFi network scanning and printer discovery
Notes
Devices with less than 3 GB of RAM may experience issues when printing to large-format media at high DPI.
Location permission is an Android system requirement for WiFi-based device discovery and is not used to track your location.
