When you first run LumaBooth, iOS asks for access to your photo library. This article explains why the app needs Full Access and how to set it up.
Why LumaBooth needs full photo library access
Every photo and video your guests capture is saved straight to your device's Photos app for safekeeping. This way your event media is never locked inside LumaBooth — even if the app is removed, your captures stay safe in your library.
To do this reliably, LumaBooth needs to save new captures and read them back for sharing, printing, and rebuilding your prints. With iOS's Limited Access ("Selected Photos"), the system blocks the app from managing the photos and videos it captured, so sessions cannot complete properly.
How to grant Full Access
1. Open the iOS Settings app.
2. Go to Privacy & Security > Photos.
3. Tap LumaBooth.
4. Select Full Access.
If LumaBooth was already running, restart the app after changing the permission.
Your privacy
LumaBooth only works with the photos and videos it captures at your events. Your personal photos are never browsed, uploaded, or shared — only event captures are uploaded, and only when you have sharing enabled for your event.
