LumaShare can play a slideshow of your photos and videos from dslrBooth or LumaBooth to a TV or secondary display. This requires LumaShare v3.4 or later with an active subscription.
Supported Devices
LumaShare can transmit the slideshow from:
- iPad running LumaShare.
- iPhone running LumaShare.
LumaShare can play a slideshow to:
- Roku devices that support Airplay 2. This is the most economical solution.
- AppleTV 2015 and later.
- Smart TVs that support AirPlay 2. See list under AirPlay 2–Enabled TVs and Devices.
- Mac with OS 12 or later.
Slideshow using AirPlay

Connect your iPad to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku, Apple TV, or other AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.

Open Control Center: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.

Tap Screen Mirroring.

Select your Roku, Apple TV, or other AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen or Mac, enter the passcode on your iPadOS device. -
LumaShare will connect to your AirPlay device and play a slideshow of all visible items in LumaShare.
You can choose what type of items to display in the slideshow and filter by time under Settings, Display.
To stop the slideshow, turn off screen mirroring from the upper-right corner of the screen.
Slideshow using HDMI adapter
LumaShare can also play a slideshow over HDMI that you can connect to a TV. To do this, connect your iPad to your TV using a certified Apple usb-to-hdmi adapter. The
Vertical/Portrait Slideshow
To better showcase your vertical videos, LumaShare now supports playing vertical slideshow to a TV or monitor that is in portrait orientation.
To configure this:
- Turn your monitor to be vertical/portrait orientation.
- go to Settings, Slideshow, TV Orientation, Portrait.
