Video Booth Modes | Image Overlay | Before/After Videos
Animated Overlay | Soundtrack
You have the option to customize the final video and boomerang/360 by adding a before/after, and overlay which are automatically added to your guests’ videos.
Video vs Boomerang/360 Booth Modes
The video booth mode is used for recording videos of your guests where you want to also record the audio and not apply any video effects to the final footage.
The boomerang/360 booth mode is used for recording short video clips that can be sped up and slowed down and have animated overlays added to them.

Image Overlay
To add an image overlay above your video such as a logo, the name of the event or a frame, you will need to create a transparent PNG image that will be added on top of your video.
You can create this PNG image in Adobe Express, Pixlr, or a similar graphic editing software. The PNG image overlay should be the same size as your video. You will see the recommended size under the Choose button in LumaBooth.
You can then transfer this image to your iPad then add it to LumaBooth.
The overlay will be added to the captured video and not the Pre and Post roll videos. You can add multiple overlays and LumaBooth will cycle through them with each session.
Before/After Videos
The Before and After videos will automatically be added to your video. Create a before/after video (this will need to be made using another software) or download one from online. Upload your videos to iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or Email. Choose the file from within LumaBooth.
In LumaBooth go to Settings > Video. Click on Pre Roll and choose the video from the iPad. Do the same for Post Roll.
Before/After videos and overlays should be the same size as your video. You will see the recommended size under the Choose button in LumaBooth.
