High Frame Rate Capture
For genuine slow motion, LumaBooth records real 120 or 240 frames per second using Android's high-speed camera mode. The captured video is then slowed down in the final clip, giving you smooth slow motion instead of choppy, frame-skipped footage.
Does My Device Support It?
Not every Android device can record high frame rate video. It depends on the camera hardware, not just the Android version.
Quick check: open your device's built-in camera app and look for a Slow motion mode offering 120 fps or higher. If it's there, the camera supports high-speed capture and LumaBooth can use it.
If your device does not support high-speed capture, LumaBooth still records at the standard frame rate, but slow motion will look noticeably less smooth.
Recommended Devices
A recent mid-range or flagship phone with slow motion support at 120/240 fps, such as a recent Samsung Galaxy S series or Google Pixel.
On a 360 spinner, we highly recommend a device with an ultra-wide camera to capture a full body shot at arm's length.
Budget tablets generally do not support high frame rate recording and are better suited for stationary photo booths.
