LumaBooth offers versatile filter options that transform the look and feel of your photo booth photos and videos. Built-in or custom filters can be applied to photo, gif, boomerang, and video sessions. There are 8 built-in filters, and guests can either choose their filters themselves or you can configure them to apply automatically. You can also enable/disable individual filters to customize each event based on your theme. This can all be configured under Settings > Filters.
What Are Custom LUTs?
LumaBooth lets you use custom filters called LUTs (Look-Up Tables). Think of LUTs as professional-grade color recipes that instantly transform your images. When applied to a photo in LumaBooth, a LUT adjusts multiple aspects of the image at once—colors, contrast, brightness, and tone—creating a cohesive new look.
For example, a 'Sepia' LUT might add warm brown tones to make photos look like treasured antique photographs from the early 1900s. A 'Black and White Film' LUT could add subtle grain and enhance contrast while removing color, giving your photobooth pictures the timeless elegance of classic cinema or fine art photography.
Custom Filter Benefits
The ability to create and use custom LUTs gives you creative control over the final appearance of your images. This feature enables you to:
- Create a signature look that distinguishes your photo booth service
- Design filters that complement specific event themes or color schemes
- Offer seasonal varieties with different looks for different occasions
- Provide professional-quality images that go beyond standard filters
