iPad/iPhone Hardware and iOS Requirements

iPad or iPhone

LumaBooth will run on any iPad or iPhone with iOS 13 or greater. If your iPad or iPhone is runs iOS 13 or later, it will work.

The following iPads are much older and are not supported: iPad (1st-4th generation), iPad Mini (1st generation), iPad Air 1. If using 360 or slow motion features, iPad 7 or great is recommended.

Supported iPhones are iPhone 14 13, 12, 11, SE, X, 8, 7, 6s and their various mini, Pro, and Max models. If you'll be using on a 360 spinner, we highly recommend models with an ultra-wide camera to get a full body shot. We recommend the iPhone 11,12, 13, or 14 for this.

Printing

LumaBooth has several printing options.

Cameras

LumaBooth can use the iPad's built-in front and rear cameras including telephoto, wide, and ultra-wide cameras. It cannot connect to DSLR cameras. If you need to use a DSLR camera, you can use our dslrBooth software for PC or Mac.

Sharing/Slideshow

You can also run a separate sharing station using our companion LumaShare app that can also play a slideshow to AppleTV, AirPlay, and HDMI.

Excuse my ignorance, but could I connect a Mitsubishi D-90 with the wireless adapter on the printer? Also, if I want to connect directly to a printer, I need to use an app- the one you provide- connected to a regular printer, right?

Jose, you would need to use LumaBooth Assistant.

Will lumabooth work with Apples's new M1 chips? Looking to upgrade my iPad's but I wont upgrade unless your software works on the new M1 chips.

Christopher, LumaBooth will work fine on iPads with the M1 chip.
