Virtual Keyboard + Touch Screens

dslrBooth is optimized for touch screens. To enable your users to use the sharing features, you can enable the Virtual Keyboard under Settings, Virtual Keyboard.

Mac

To enable the virtual keyboard to use characters such as the & symbol, Activate Sticky Keys in System Preferences > Accessibility > Keyboard > Enable Sticky Keys. Then Options... uncheck all settings.

 

Windows

Custom Keyboard

You can customize what characters are displayed on the keyboard by creating a custom Keyboard.

This can be done using the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator.

This is not something we directly support but it should work if you create the keyboard, build package, install it, and choose it as your keyboard input method from the task bar or the control panel.
