dslrBooth allows your guests to choose whether or not they would like to apply an effect to their photos. Alternatively, you can choose an effect such as black/white to apply to all photos without requiring user interaction. This feature enhances the guest experience by providing more customization options and creative possibilities, allowing them to choose between taking a normal photo or a filtered (post-processed) photo during an event.
To turn on, go to Settings > Effects & Stickers > Filters.
You'll have a list of effects that can get applied to the photos. You can either apply one of them to all photos or you can ask your guest if they would like to use any of them after the photos has been taken. Filters can add unique effects to photos, making them more engaging and memorable. Offering a variety of filters ensures flexibility and caters to different guest preferences.
For your own custom effects, you can import your own LUTs.
To get a glam effect as in the ‘Kardashian’ type look, combine the black/white filter with the built-in beauty filter that does skin smoothing. ### Tips for Choosing Filters for Events
Match the Event Theme: Select filters that align with the theme of the event, such as vintage filters for a retro-themed party.
Test Filters in Advance: Ensure the filters you choose work well with the lighting and background setup of your photo booth.
Provide Variety: Offer a mix of subtle and bold filters to cater to different guest preferences.
