Facebook Permissions

Updated this week

Much older versions of dslrBooth previously supported direct posting to Facebook Pages. However, we've made the decision to remove this feature due to ongoing technical challenges with Facebook's API, which experienced frequent bugs and constant changes that impacted reliability and user experience.

See here for the recommended solution using fotoShare cloud:

dslrBooth and fotoShare require the user's permission before they can post images to your facebook page. If you do not grant our apps permissions the first time they are requested, you can follow the steps below to reset the permissions for our apps.

In order to refresh permissions to Facebook, you will need to click on Down Arrow, Settings, Business Integrations, Click on the checkbox next to fotoShare, then click on Remove and that should remove permissions.

If you're still having issues, go to to Internet Explorer, Internet Options, Security, choose Internet then change Security level to Medium-high.

We also highly recommend you update your Internet Explorer to v11 or later.
